(The boring part)

Smart Dog

Before I take on any new clients I will provide a free no obligatory meet & greet. 

This allows you to get to know me and for me to get to know you & your pets.

I will take down any information I need regarding the services you require and I can answer any questions you may have. 

If at the end we're both happy to go ahead then we can make a booking, if not then that's okay, just let me know!

During this meet & greet you will be shown the following term's & conditions to read through and be required to sign to confirm that you will adhere to any that apply to you as will I for any that apply to me:

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring their Dog is micro chipped & up to date with vaccinations, flea and de-wormer treatments.

  • The Client must inform Purrfect Gems if their Dog contracts an infectious disease. Purrfect Gems will ensure their van is deep cleaned & The Dog will not be walked until they have been cleared to do so by a vet.

  • Purrfect Gems is responsible for ensuring they are fully insured, DBS checked and up to date with first aid training. (DBS check & First Aid is renewed every 3 years - both last updated 2024)

  • All personal information & any keys provided by the Client will be locked away & kept secure by Purrfect Gems.

  • The Client will be invoiced as agreed and must pay within 7 days.

  • If the Client needs to cancel any bookings they must give at least 24 hours notice. Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the booking price.
    If the Client does not cancel a booking & Purrfect Gems arrives as planned but is not needed or the Dog isn’t there then the full rate will still be charged.

  • Purrfect Gems may take photos of your Dog whilst they are in their care, but will only do so and share to social media or in any advertisements if they are given the Client's permission.   

  • Purrfect Gems will only walk Dog's off lead if they have the Client's permission & are confident they have full control of the Dog at all times.

  • During extreme weather conditions Purrfect Gems reserves the right to reduce the duration of walks, replace them with a house visit or cancel a walk in the interest of the Dog’s welfare.  

  • In the event of an emergency Purrfect Gems will make every attempt to contact the owner and their emergency contacts. If they can’t reach anyone & the Dog requires veterinary treatment Purrfect Gems will act on the advice given by the veterinary surgeon and the owner is responsible for any veterinary bills.
